I'm using livia and Odgen and i was wondering if there were any ways to improve them.

First Odgen

his skills are ( o and i hav all campains except for nightfall btw) [word of healing][dwayna's kiss][aegis][shielding hands][reversal of fortune][protective spirit][mend ailment][glyph of lesser energy]

his attributes are
divine favor-10+2
healing prayers-10+1
protection prayers-11+1

on him i hav a full survivor set, a major vigor rune, minor runes for all three attributes, and a vitae rune

thx for any help and suggestions
hes using default weapon, do i need something for hexes?

Now for Livia

i hav for her [aura of the lich][animate bone fiend][animate bone horror][blood of the master][death nova][dark bond][heal party][rebirth]

her attributes are
soul reaping-10+1
death magic-12+4
healing prayers-8
blood magic-2

im not sure about her runes yet, but for now only one sup death magic on her helmet and one minor soul reaping(also default wep)

But really i would suggest a Jagged Bomber build on Liv with either a few prot skills of resto party wide support skills.

As a basic WoH it looks passable, but if you have all those miniosn dieing a resto nec is the way to go.

I'd probably dump [Aegis] on Livia instead of [Heal Party], seeing as Heroes like to chain it and Ogden has no [Guardian].

Monk shit is great on necro builds, they've got the energy to spam it. My MM's either have [[Aegis] or [[Dwayna's Sorrow] at almost all times - occasionally I'll throw [[Splinter Weapon] and [[Ancestor's Rage] if I need the extra firepower.

On topic - I don't think either bar is ideal, but I do think both bars are more than good enough to get you through most areas with little to no hassle. Oh, and make sure to disable Rebirth and you cast it for her.

As to why another copy of Aegis - look at the downtime. You can keep it up for probably 20 out of 30 seconds by the heroes chaining it back to back, which will negate far more damage than Heal Party will recover - and for less energy.

The builds that ac1 posted should be okay; though I'm not too sure about the first MM build, never really liked Golem. Oh, and Discord is really powerful on an MM bar (instead of Icy Veins). Heroes use Aegis really well, so try to have it on a hero somewhere; the reason a lot of people put Aegis and PS on an MM hero is because they have virtually limitless energy through all the minions dying.

I'm assuming this was directed towards my two Aegis comment, so....two copies of Aegis means taking the skill on both Ogden and Livia.

As far as ac1's builds - if you're interested, my hero monk and MM run monk#1 with [[Patient [email protected]] instead of Rebirth, and MM#3 with [[[email protected]] instead of the Res Signet - attributes for that are 12+1+3 Death, 10 Prots, 8+1 Soul Reaping. If I don't really need minion bombs, I also replace Death Nova with [[Blood Ritual] with my leftover points in Blood to help out my casters.

Since you don't have Nightfall, you could replace Dismiss Condition with [[Mend [email protected]] - it's not as good (IMO) but at least it's condition removal.

VVV Yes, Nightfall skills are almost necessary for any great builds anymore because it has so many great skills for each profession. [[Flail], [[Burning Arrow], [[Signet of Lost Souls], [[Hex Eater Vortex], [[Zealous Benediction], [[Mind Blast], [[Offering of Spirit], [[Critical Agility] all come to mind.

thx for all the help so far, looks like i gotta get nightfall pretty soon with all the skills it has

some questions tho, monk #1 has no aegis? i thought aegis was a must for monks. and how is soa better than shielding hands? soa only blocks 5dmg and shielding hands blocks eight and they last for aobut the same amount of time.

SoA blocks 5 damage x no of hits you've taken. For example, the first hit will be reduced by 5, the second will be reduced by 10, then 15, etc

^^ I might be wrong since I had all three games before GWEN came out, but I saw somewhere that if you capped a Nightfall elite in GWEN but didn't actually have Nightfall, it wouldn't let you equip it once you left the area? Confirmation, anyone?

ok change your monk to have Hb+glyph+dywana kiss+divine spirit+patient+rebirth+patient spirit+dismiss condition+cure hex+any more
use glyph+rebirth or divine+rebirth
or go mo/mes with powerdrain and waiste want no or w.e as energy manage interuption.

go livia n/rt with jagged bones+protective kaoli+rit heal skills and deathpact=res or go n/mo with aegis+protspirit+hex removal!

Does he have enough time to spam it? gotta give that a try when I get home. usually I run expel hex as elite and foulfeast+infuse condition on my MM so I can take monk henchies that don't have (good) hex/condi remove.

What I was thinking! Or MM with MoP for the AoE dmg.

I think you should replace ogden with a N/Rt. They have more healing, make conditions end faster(if u take recovery), more party wide healing(if you took life), and SoLS and Soul reaping for energy management. It should outlast Ogden in energy.
